ASNSS - (Anaimalai Samuga Nnala Seeramaippu Sangam) – Standing With the Tribals Since 1992

The Association for the Social and National Service Society (ASNSS – Anaimalai Samuga Nnala Seeramaippu Sangam) was founded in 1992 with a deep commitment to serve the tribal communities of the Western Ghats in India. These communities, along with bonded laborers and socially marginalized groups, have historically been excluded from mainstream development.

For more than three decades, ASNSS – Anaimalai Samuga Nnala Seeramaippu Sangam has worked to restore dignity, improve livelihoods, and preserve the cultural and ecological heritage of tribal people. Today, the organization supports over 2,000 families across six tribal communities.

Our Philosophy

“Tribal communities are not beneficiaries—they are custodians of nature and knowledge. Our role is to support, strengthen, and co-create solutions led by the communities themselves.”

Vision

Formation of a company where people will strive to work and share the benefits with others, to build up a more humane and just society, firmly rooted in sustainable development where justice, freedom, truth, equality and fraternity will be cherished.

Mission
  • We believe that development is a qualitative transformation in the life of the people as a community and nation, rather than quantitative abundance of the amenities of life.
  • Development is a state of well-being to be attained through conscious efforts in a gradual process by the people. We educate the people at the grass root level to enable them to their own destiny.
